Ive been busy figuring out all the wiring extras i have to do.
Power windows & locks, push button start, alarm & security, Hi/Lo beam from the column stalk, DSE wipers, LS loom, etc, etc ...
I can trouble shoot a $40m dollar aircon system but this one has got me rattled.

Anyway, made up a frame for the PCM and had to hang it in mid air to miss the wipers, relay panel, heater, radio, gauges, fuse box, wiper arms and heater vents....ohh man!!

Its the Vintage Air bi-level heater/demister Frank.
Has a 3 speed fan and cable operated flap for the footwell heater.
Nice and compact compared to the original unit that hung below the dash and half out the firewall.

Borrowed another spare block for measurements, Race Rad's radiator & Meziere water pump will replace these so just looking at clearances.

Depending on how deep new water pump is you need another 20mm to fit a shroud under that fan.
Could always run the fans out of a late model Commodore or falcon where the shroud is incorporated.

Thanks Stuart, I'll have to check the Meziere pumps for measurements, might use a remote pump yet with all AN fittings, gotta work out all the LS piping because i want to keep the engine bay clutter to a minimum.
The new radiator and fans will be skinnier than this one, gunna modify the rad-support panel as well to make a wider opening, i will most likely use a Race Radiators' unit, Jason there was really helpful with recoring my coupe's radiator.

Just gotta pull my finger out and get back into it now.

Can always relocate Meziere pump - mine sits under one of my front guards - makes the BBC look a lil naked .. and we all like naked

SO have you run heater hoses from your pump Justin? How?
Love to see some pics if you have them.
Trouble with the LS is they have 4 connections at the block, makes for a messy engine bay.
Cheers mate.

Got some sheetmetal work done this weekend.
Enlarged the radiator support panel opening by 70mm to allow for a bigger radiator and replaced all the holes and those ugly bumpy bits with some flat panels.
Still needs some adjustments, shrinking and cleaning up, I'm also closing off the top rail to hide the headlight wiring loom that will run across the front of the panel.
Then it can be stripped and primed.
