Haha very temporary Nev, it was still hanging on the rotisserie, the jack & stands were just taking the weight of the diff.
See todays new and improved version.

Its been a bloody long time since it sat on its own [two] feet.
Like i said, trial fit up the block-heads-manifold & auto, temporarily fit front panels and hood to measure manifold & injection stack height thru the bonnet.
Plenty of room out back for some serious rubber.

I've got 790mm from sub frame to bonnet.
Engine block is approx 450mm, 20mm clearance, 230mm for manifold, injection stacks are 120mm....do the math.

Sure am Al, just waiting on a dummy block, the sheetmetal is only temporary.
Will fit up the tranny, block, heads & manifold and hopefully borrow the injectors.
Then ask the engineer how much i can have hanging out the top.

Lots of mock-up photos to come, thats whats getting me excited.
Heres another motivation shot....

Now for all you observant gear-heads....before you tell me [and i appreciate the advice] i know the sump is on backwards....
I don't have a rear sump yet, so if anyone has one for sale, please let me know, cheers.

I think it is Allan, but the motor is rear sump - early Nova requires front sump.

So Pete put the sump on backwards just to sit the motor in.
