Yeah it was. I looked it up and it sold a while back. Bit of a bargain for the guy who bought it.

You set on a '72 Pete ?

I am kinda partial to the '70 myself .

But good to see you adding a Ford to the stable.

I would have thought that car is a 71 model as it has the laser stripe.

Laser stripe was 71 but that pic is a 70 model.
71's had a divided grill.

Yes it was but I could not find anyone who wanted it, I had a lot of interest when I had it at the Gold Coast 600 and other car events but in the time I had it up for sale (9 months I think) I only had the guy who bought it and 1 other person come have a look at it.
As soon as it was sold I had people offering me more money than what I had reduced the price to and was getting abused by them when I had said sorry I have already taken a non refundable deposit yet the month prior to me dropping the price it was only about a $1000 more.
The photo Dave put up is when the new owner had it at the All Ford Day a couple years back, I still see it quite regularly and the new owner and his wife have fallen in love with it.
It will most likely be at Beachfest this weekend, I will get a current photo if I spot it

Sorry Pete, he has no interest in selling it at the moment and is approached regularly apparently.
He tells me he just replaced the timing chain last week and everything was date code correct so it looks like the 78000 Miles on the odometer is correct too.
It is only a 302W though.
