I'm on it Kev, pulled the axles(to the left in pic) and dropped them off today to get redrilled and taped.

I used to ride a yz465 when I was young. Crazy bike, think lag, lag, lag then within a split second the power ban tried to mate your teeth with the front wheel. Raced a 85 yz250 when I was about 18.

A few here know I raced national superbikes for some years & still love my sportsbikes (RSV4 current) but dirtbikes scare the living snot out of me.

Recently edged slowly closer by getting the DR-Z400SM motard for my daily. Baby steps I guess

Both look awesome fun Jim. The Yammy is an imaculate restoration - Any issues finding parts? (Or similar concerns for the GG?). Enjoy!

You can still get a lot of stuff for the older Jap bikes from the dealer Deano, though a lot of the parts don't look the same as the original...I'd rather try to restore the older part first. Hopefully I'm not looking for parts for the Gasgas anytime soon I do know that a lot of the Euro makers source a lot of their parts from the same place.

Not a dirt bike, but I am still collecting bits and pieces to resto my Suzuki
gt750.........slowly......

I've had many a spill in the bush and broken/torn/sprained plenty Kev, as I've gotten older I've slowed down a bit....But dirt riding is what I enjoy the most.

I hope you're doing well mate.
