1968 Camaro seat

Gday,

I have a cloth trim black/white houndstooth original seat. Not ready to lash out and replace the covers just yet. Cloth trim has some tears in it so want to cover them.

I tried posting a picture but not worth it as by the time it's resized you can't see much.

Anyone used a patch of some sorts? Silicon/glue or epoxy to fix patch to existing cloth trim?
