Well I wouldn't say that. 3000hp and plus nowdays and doesn't need to be Blown, BB, injected and top alcohol. http://www.prolineracing.net/ http://www.prolineracing.net/engines...-steel-3250-hp http://www.prolineracing.net/engines...x-mozez-3300hp http://www.prolineracing.net/engines/plr-670ci-4000-hp |

I just noticed that the 68 Charger at the end of Fast 7, the nice brushed steel looking one is a nelson racing engines car. That is pretty good advertising considering everyone knows of the movie.
How is this thread, on a little AU forum going to compete with that? |

I met Darren who runs Trikfab fabrications. Great bloke with amazing builds in progress.
He ordered some turbos from NRE. Had nothing bad BAD things to say about him. Had to fight hard to get them delivered. Apparently the issue is that Turbonetics designed the mirror image turbos for him and only to be sold with an engine package. But once they realised he was selling them to anyone, they stopped supplying him. Hence one of the reasons he was not shipping engines.

Definitely not correct. Tom has the patent for mirror image turbos and Turbonetics manufacture them under license for Tom. Turbonetics don't sell directly to the public the mirror image turbos, I know I've tried to buy them directly

There have been other media favourite engine builders who have done the same sort of thing to their customers. G Jonny Hunkins from PHR was a big fan of Andy Mitchell and I think Bruce Fulper. Their engines were not in the big $$ range of Nelson, but they both got scathing reviews about ripping people off. ets you wondering about the writers and the other products they endorse/write about in their articles.

Nice website. LOL!
Well, thankfully these days you can just buy crate engines from reputable places that provide basically 1000+ HP. More than a street car will ever need. |
