Are these guys still in operation, had parts sitting in the North Carolina warehouse since Feb 2016 with no apparent movement?

Yes we are still in business. It has been a tough first half of the year but we have still managed to ship over 40 containers.

Unfortunately Fremantle has been the hardest hit port in Australia and North Carolina has been, up until recently, the slowest depot. The last Fremantle container cut on 6/10/15. The next Fremantle container out of NC is about to pack in the next week.

I can recommend these guys. Always happy to discuss freight options. Have recently used them and had to split the shipment between air and sea. This was not a problem. Will definitely use them again.

I thought I'd put my personal experiences in..

Being a business owner (U.S.Automotives), I required a regular and reliable service for parts ex-USA. Since 2001 majority of the parts brought in were done by a company no longer in business so I decided to use USAtoAUS. Big mistake!

First experience, it took 5 months to get in some rims for a customer. Nothing but excuses and sob stories on how the container got held up by customs and it cost USAtoAUS money, etc etc.

My second experience didn't get any better, with around $40k in stock being shipped, again they "ran into issues" and took around 3 months for the container to arrive, after going from USA to China to Australia... One of the items was sent to their depot in Kelso, Washington to meet up with my other freight, but never arrived in Australia. I questioned the owner Phil and he said it was "not his responsibility to chase my freight if I have it sent to his depot"... WRONG! The item arrived, was signed for but this wasn't enough proof for him and didn't even offer to look around his warehouse because my proof of delivery "didn't mean anything, it doesn't state our address on the POD"...

At the end of the day, ignoring calls, emails etc is their way of handling a problem. They ignored my invoice to recover funds for an item that was lost yet signed for at their depot. I am not the first person this has happened to, probably not the last!

I wouldn't recommend their service at all. They have no idea what they are doing. I had other freight sent to them when this all went down and forwarded it onto another shipper to avoid delays. 5 weeks from LA to Melbourne, Melbourne to Brisbane!

We'll leave it at that!

Jesse contacted us on October 6th about Freight item # 10566

The item showed as "Pending" in our freight system.

October 7th Jesse provided a delivery notification dated 6/8/2016 but it did not indicate the delivery address nor was there a signature for delivery so he actually has no proof of where the package was delivered and at no time between June 8th and October 6th did the client notify us that the status of his freight did not match the delivery notification from his supplier.

This particular container was unpacked and inspected by US Customs which delayed its departure and resulted in freight being repacked by US Customs.

Despite Jesse's opinion our staff did do a search of the warehouse to confirm that package #10566 was not in the warehouse and the POD provided by the client was not signed and did not provide the delivery address.

The delivery that he is complaining about did take 3 months to land but we fully disclose that we are a small shipping company that has only shipped 49 x 40' containers this year and the middle 6 months of the year was very slow. There may be delays that are beyond our control including an earthquake 7 miles from our trans ship port, one of the largest shipping companies in the world going out of business and dumping containers all over the world etc, etc.

So Jesse is entitled to his opinion. After shipping close to 500 containers I think we have a pretty good handle on the situation even though reality doesn't always meet some peoples expectations.

Jesse your emails were not ignored, all have been responded to with the exception of your last email which signed off "I will advise my solicitor's next step" which indicates that we are to wait for further communication.

And I will leave it at that!
