Yeah was thinking that, but some us plates look very similar. Not sure about the dates vs plate numbers but a "W" plate would possibly indicate that the car has only been there a few years?

Since the 67 i was going to look at turned out to be a 66, I'm still on the lookout, is this car for sale?

must be aus delivered cos its parked so close to the left door. Also appears to have no left wing mirror or bumper guards...
It also has 'clap hand' wipers. (I think - correct me if I'm wrong) the American cars have wipers that sweep in the same direction.

Is he selling the whole lot? Like in a clearing auction or piece by piece?

Not happening at the moment, the FB poster isn`t the owner and he hasn`t posted since yesterday, so i guess he`s either trying to contact the owner or gone to ground.
Google Earth may actually be a good option, that paddock may not be that hard to find. Apparently the farm is 4 hrs south of Adelaide & the closest town is Naracoorte.

Guys, be ready for some serious dedication ... just to give you a visual primer, here is a sizable yard in Texas -- note that even at good res it doesn't look like much:

The problem is that the green of the grass and shrubs messes with the view. Zoom it in just a little and you find this:

Which shows there seem to be some pretty nice old pieces out there worth checking out.

Only putting up the images to show how easy it is to overlook even a sizable yard -- that place in Nacgodoches is pretty big, but the cars just vanish into the greenery if you zoom out even a little bit.

Fortunately there not much greenery in Naracoorte!

---------- Post added at 09:05 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:57 AM ----------

Here's a guess, corner of Treatment Works rd and Kingston Ave Naracoorte.

Big yard full of cars...

---------- Post added at 09:34 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:05 AM ----------

probably not, not enough trees

---------- Post added at 10:48 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:34 AM ----------

could do a rego check on one of the vehicles if you could see the whole plate. The impalas only got 4 out of 6, so only 99 combinations. I got to number 8 before i gave up , plus the rego site didn't have names or locations like the vic one does.
