by the way the only thing that exploded was the battery ... had about 20 ltrs of lpg and 120 ltr of fuel at the time
could have been heaps worse just lucky the guys coming the other way saw what was happening and there was room for them to get out of the way this is my current tonka toy

Had a scoop of sand in it Sat, and loaded it for a swap meet Sunday. Sold the box trailer and have more space for cars! lol.. ![]() ![]() later Dave |

I guess this is worthy of the truck category and definatly US heritage.
I owned this around 1990 for a few years. 1974 Cj5 Jeep, had a nasty little 307ci through all Dana driveline and a rear locker. It had a bit of a problem keeping the front end on the ground with any weight in the back! Heaps of fun off road ,but i had a big off when i launched it into space off a big dune. Luckily i only popped out the winscreen,cracked the fuel cell and inverted a front leaf spring on the landing.Scared the crap out of me and my mate and I was lucky to keep it shiny side up. Dukes of Hazzard style. I miss that rig.......

my 57 chev pick up
This is my 57 chev pick up that I built as a daily driver, That was 2 years ago and it is off the road at the moment getting a cam change and rebuilding the
th700 It runs a 400sbc gas/petrol, th700, 10 bolt, jag front end, air bags in the rear,air con, power steering, power windows, 18's and 20's rims and a whole lot of body mods. |
