I felt like going for a drive, and well...

On Tuesday morning, I felt like going for a drive (from Wollongong) in the barge.

Later that evening, I checked into a motel in Shepparton.

The following morning, I took a drive to Bendigo and then decided to come home.

I arrived home last night shortly after 11pm.

As I was getting close to home, I thought that I would've been close to travelling 1,000 miles on this trip. Well, I was close. When I checked the milage, I'd traveled 999 miles in 2 days.

Now the car is due for a service. I hate it when that happens...

BTW, the car ran great.

Wow, 1000 miles, that's some 'drive'!

My drives are about one zero less...

Glad I'm not paying the fuel bill in the Camaro on that trip Chris.

From memory it took Chris 3 tanks to drive from Mt Eliza to Heathcote a few years ago.

At that rate he'll need a fuel tanker to tag along.

Yeah I do recall and thought that was dedication rather than towing it.

that drive was 227 there, same home....$380 in fuel

Buick will be tagging along, Ross will come with me, we've already discussed loading up the Buick with Jerry Can's and nothing else. Buy on a cheap day, load it up with say 300-400 litres of fuel. My estimate is $2K to $2500 to drive it. That or ship and I think I'd rather drive it
