I ran mine on the inside of the frame rail and...

I ran mine on the inside of the frame rail and ran heat insulation cover where it got close to the exhaust. Its a ford but same principle. Braided PTFE.

Well, it was pretty wet but we managed to make a day of it. Not a lot of chances in Perth to do corners at speed in the rain, made that 250hp Cleveland feel like 500hp:).

If I was to do my Mustang again, for the amount of money I spent on the engine, and me doing all the labour, I would definitely consider an LS based engine. But I'm not planning on doing it again:)
