about 2 hours to get the striker part of the quarter off. Takes some patience if you don't want to fcuk up the rest of the steel that you want to leave in place to reattach stuff to.

Cut the quarter back a bit. Looking at taking out the lead next. That's an outside job. Mounted the door to give me an idea of the body line. I will have to adjust the door as its a little high....

Finally got the trunk floor out. Cleaned up the inside of the rails and rear box and used copious amounts of epoxy enamel to seal it up. Couldn't avoid the tops of the rails so I will clean that off...

The hot sparks will melt the glass as they hit it I believe. It will leave small melted blemishes that aren't really removable.
