I couldn't believe I did not have a thread for this car. It was registered just before I joined here by the look of it.
A couple of pics.
How I found it in US in 1988

Well after nearly 6 years of trouble free motoring (except pulley belt tensioner and idler arm), on the way to Flemington it hiccuped, decided to turn around and head home. When home was clear it was pretty hot, with steam coming from front of motor. Front seal on water pump had failed.
Took it to Chev's for new water pump. Found a hole in radiator tank so had that fixed. We swapped out ECU so we could add some parameters for fans. Chev put a new tune in. Made 385hp or 287kw at wheels. :D
Feels new again. All ready for summer cruising.

Didn't realise it started out looking like that Roger.
Beautiful car.
I'd love to get a LS motor in my 68 one day
