Tribute day to BlackoutSteve - Nov 11th
Hi all,

The 60's American Muscle Car Club has organised a tribute afternoon to our dear friend and fellow club member Steve Knight.

This will be held at the clubrooms at the Vintage Drivers Club, Factory 8, 41-49 Norcal Rd, Nunawading, on Saturday November 11th from 2.30pm. There will be a BBQ provided with BYO alcohol, and by all means bring your US car. Steve's family will be in attendance and has organised to have his beloved Camaro there as well.

For those who knew Steve, whether online or in person, as a work colleague or friend, you are all welcome to come along and pay tribute to the man.
We would love people to come forward and tell their stories of Steve.

More at our FB page:

If you have any photos you think will add to the tribute it would be appreciated if you could please forward them to me, Steve B at

Am there 100% (albeit unfortunately for only the first hour or so due to a prior commitment). Kudos to you & the crew for arranging this during such a difficult time.

It will be an honour to start a V8 for Steve.

Nice work fellas.

I can't be there, but I'll try and be there in spirit. I'll use that evening to drink in his memory.

Does anyone remember that funky German beer Steve use to rave about? Some weird-arse name. Finding a 6'er of that would be a fitting drink.

Hey Russ that beer is called Weihenstephan. It is also sold at your local Danís.
Think I will have a few myself.

Nice. Thanks Jay ... and now I know why he drank it. It has Stephan in the name, which it a derivative of Stephen, which bore the name Steven.

Great to hear Ben. I was so disappointed to miss it. I just could not change my plans. Maybe it should become an annual rememberence. Not just for Steve but for all those lost to the wonderful car community
