If you buy them complete/new, take the guidplates and every other moving part and throw them in the bin and start from scratch. Ask me how I know :(

I'm only after an intake, you're talking about the heads right ? what's wrong with them ?

I'm leaving the stock LS5 heads, but changing an old "twisted torker" single plane intake to something a little better for the street, but thanks for the heads up.
