Anyone going? I know I am, taking my mum up for the entire weekend - Fri-Sun. Aswell as car parts I think she will like it as there is generally heaps of...hhmmmm... well just really old stuff.

We are going to have a stand again this year and hopefully I will make some cash getting rid of some redundant Chev and Gemini parts.

If you like swap meets, this is the big mumma of them all!

I'll be there... i have a spot... right next to you :p
Although you've already taken allot of our good stuff hopefully we can russle a few things from under the house..

I know we'll be using the spot more as a base for all the stuff we buy.. and just selling what junk (other peoples treasure) we have.

For people that have never been.. One word describes it..... "HUGE".. it's massive.. take walking shoes and lots of money :p

P.S. here's the site link http://www.ballarat.com/swapmeet.htm

Yeah it as huge.. but too hot during the day.. and too cold during the night.. I sold alot of junk, and some good stuff really cheap.. Brand new statesman rear chrome strips for $2, and WH and WK number plate surrounds for like $10 each... They sold quickly, could've sold them for more but i just wanted to get rid of them..

There were some cars for sale... wouldn't say bargains.. but still cheap if your ready to pay.. i'll post some pics up tommorow.

A bargain i did see was a 67 camaro front grill including indicator bodys for $100.. cheap.. but didn't need it to so thought i'd leave it for someone else.. went past again after a few hours and it was gone.. good buy to whoever go it..

Apart from all that, i only bought some old ammo box's.. they make great containers for old nuts and bolts :p

I was there on the Saturday, and yes as has been said it was HOT!

Personally I didn't think many of the cars for sale were at "good prices", but then again I last bought a car almost 8 years ago, prices have changed allot since then.

All i bought were some tyres.

there were 1 or 2 bargains.. but they were in the isles and not in the display area.. and you had to be early.. friday is when all the bargains go... it's the day most people are setting up...
