in my chevelle i slid the cross member back drill two holes and had to use a skinnier cross member mount . t350 and 700 use the same slip yoke thats a bonus but you need to shorten your tail shaft . my speedo cable fitted as well . i brought a converter lock up box controler from b&m it works grait , i have a 3000rpm stall and i can over ride it with the diel . the main thing is the tv cable if thats not rite your box will not get anough oil and over heat and burn the cluches out . you can get a kit that always has oil presure so you want burn your box i think thay were artcarr or transco i love my artcarr shifter it the bestshifter i have ever had . i hope thats a bit of help

On a Camaro subframe, you can't slid the crossmember back. It's location is recessed in the rails. Aftermarket crossmembers for 4L60/TH700 should be out there.
