never heard of a Rambalor Matador... you sure it's not a Rambler? cause i've seen a few Ramblers even considered buying one, till i was talked out of it due to too much rust.. regretting it now.. was Factory Black and Stock BigBlock coup...

Edit:

Just done a quick google search and yeah i think it's meant to be a Rambler Metador.. info can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMC_Matador

The 1974 model year introduced an aerodynamically styled fastback coupe with pronounced "tunneled" headlight surrounds. The four-door and station wagon models did not share the complete redesign of the new coupe. The requirements for five-mile an hour impact protection meant they received a facelift with massive bumpers (Matadors with this front fascia are sometimes nicknamed "coffin noses"). The coupe stands out as one of the more distinctive and controversial designs of the 1970s after the AMC Pacer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMC_Pacer).
Sales of the coupe were brisk, but dropped as intermediate coupes declined in popularity with the oil crisis of the 1970s. Design plans for a sedan and wagon based on the coupe's styling themes did not reach production.

1974 Matador rebuilt as a replica of a Police Car from The Dukes of Hazzard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dukes_of_Hazzard)
