Shipping from WA [Archive]

Hey Guys,

I searched the forum but couldn't find any previous thread.

Was looking for a cheap option for shipping from WA to ACT.

Prodigy Customs can do decent shipping prices to WA, but then I need to get it over here, was trying to find if there is a suitable and cost affective way to do this. Anyone got any ideas?

I want to by a complete subframe I got quotes of https://www.temando.com/ and cheapest is at $1300 to ship from WA to ACT. This blows the cost saved by shipping into WA.

Worse case scenario I just go back to direct shipping into Sydney, but thought it was worth checking.

Thanks, I'll give them a call tomorrow.

I'm buying the Speedtech subframe and suspension.

Speedtech sub works with the AOI RHD rack and pinion kit I have. Reason I chose it over the DSE one.

I haven't tried Gardener before, so they may be pretty good. But out of all the other shipping companies I've tried, e-go.com.au are usually considerably cheaper

Thats an interesting peice of info for us camaro owners with RHD. How'd you manage to work that out? Is this tested yet, or a 'should work ok' scenario?

Spoke to Mario the AOI dealer who tested it in a Speedtech sub just this week. Also spoke to Joe the SA speedtech dealer in Aus and he confirmed it.

I used Sadliers to ship from vic to wa..........cheapest by far

How did you get on Gavin? I just got of the phone from Frank (Prodigy) I said i would contact the shipping company to find out if they take any containers to the East coast, I will let you know.

I just got an email back from Lee at Import Perfection and she only ships to Fremantle, so no good for you guys over east.
