8th Aug Cruise?

Just thought i would put it out to the W.A. guys n girls if anyone wanted to catch up for a bit of a cruise up the coast on the sunday morning and maybe have lunch some where along the way?(weather permitting)
Maybe up to hillaries boat harbour or we can head the other way down kwinana/rockingham way??

Anyone keen for a 10am start some where??

Yep sounds good,depending on if we get any of the guys south of the river will determine where we might start out.But will try and work out a bit of a route before the sunday so we can park up for a bit for a chat then move on to somewere for lunch then maybe another stop before we go our seperate ways.

Hey Paul, just as a suggestion for being able to get a feed and still be near the cars, we often stop at "captain munchees" in Freo near the Passenger terminal. The car is never out of your sight there and there is always heaps of parking.

Baz,yeah trying to figure out a good spot or two along the way so we can stop and have a chat and wait for other people to arrive.

Here's one idea for the morning/lunch time.

If majority of us are north of the river,maybe we start up near hillaries and wander down the coast via scarborough then the cott and end up at captain munchies for lunch.
If it sounds like the go maybe meet up at hillaries at 10 ish and once we're there someone leads us down the coast??

Any other routes for the morning would be good.

Ive got 2 mates coming with there cars aswell,more the merrier i reckon.

just jumped in the cammy today to make the most of the beautiful weather and its been attacked by electrical gremlins. might just be a loose earth but wouldn't start (once i got it home thank god) so ill give it a closer inspection this week and might be there weather permitting :)

Latest forcast now says Sat and Sun Sunnnnny 19 and 20 degrees. Yesterday the long range forcast was for a medium risk of showers.
So fingers crossed we may get a run in.
Any other sugestions on a route ? or one of the ideas already discussed ? think most of the inerested members are in the northern burbs.

Didnt you have this problem once before? Something to do with your headlight doors if i recall.

Barry i was hopping to be past your place at about 10ish hopefully or we can meet at kingsway shopping centre on wanneroo road at 10ish.
Then head up to hillaries and meet with Baz(marinablue) and Graham(ham69) and who ever else wanted to join in and go from there.We can then decide weather we head north or south when we're all up there i reckon??

i rewired them and haven't had drain for months Baz, been running beautifully ..might get my mates multimeter onto it tom, its a bit hard working round night shift! :rolleyes:

def think its the alternator, very possibly the voltage regulator! and 2 months over its warrenty recon date! :mad: do you fellas know anywere in perth i can get a good replacement for a reasonable price? or should i just hook up the websites and wait a week or 2? :rolleyes:

Im thinking maybe we should all meet up at Kingsway shops as i drove through Hillaries marina last sunday and it was chockas. The north wall oposite the yacht club was about the only uncrowded parking.

Thanks guys n gals for turning out today,we had a great time cruisin down the coast to Freo with you lot.
We meet some nice people who turned up in impalas which were very cool.
Headed back up the coast but i had a small drama of the fuel vapourizing but got it home alright.
Spotted about 5 vettes and 4 mustangs along the way which was great to see.
Look forward to another cruise sometime again.
Hopefully a few more cars next time.

We had Lunch at Captain munchees In Freo. One family followed us from Hepburn ave to Freo just to give the kids a better look at the cars.
A few Impalas turned up while we were there, the white and blue ones were Aus delivered RHD cars. The blue one had a suprise under the hood.Very nice.
