I havent taken that many photos of it unfortunately!! It currently has a 350 small block with an edelbrock performer manifold, 850 carb, mild cam and a 350 turbo trans. I am waiting on my front and rear end to arrive from the states so i can start the rebuild. I have a shafiroff 540 procharged engine to go in, and a lenco 5 speed st 1200 trans and a moser wavetrac 9" rear getting made for it. I will have to tub the rear also. Along with wilwood brakes all round and respray etc. Its a money pit i know but i've wanted to do it for a long time. I just need space at the moment and trying to weigh up whether to buy a hoist. I appreciate all the work you have all done to your cars on here and all the headaches you must have had doing them!! I get a lot of motivation from seeing all the fantastic cars on this site and helpful information. I will bring it up to perth when i have done it to meet you all.
Hope it's not 10 years away!!

Sweet-as Tony. What's your wheel/tyre specs? One of the toughest-stance Gen2's I've seen in some time.
Can't wait to see any progress with the HUGE plans you've got! Cheers for sharing!

Deano i have some idea of a wheel/tyre package but haven't decided as yet, but was thinking of an 18" wheel (there are a few different brands like foose etc) and hopefully if it all fits when i do the tubs, a 345 tyre on rear and 265 fronts ...possibly!I have those Cragar rims in 15" which are multi-fit, but the tyres are only about 30% left and they don't make those Goodrich's anymore iv'e been informed?

Sounds seriously wicked Tony, how much power is in that 540 ? 1200hp ??

Chris,
They reckon i should get 1300hp at the flywheel without doing anything extra to it now, the belt drive can add a couple of hundred hp extra if using a cog belt over a serpentine. I think i should get 1000rwhp but it obviously wont be street legal so my intention is just for show and maybe a dyno shootout or something. I have to find somewhere to drive it so does the motorplex allow just track laps or is it only cater for 1/4 mile stuff?
Deano the wheels are 9&1/2" rears and have 295x15" tyres, and 8" front with 265x15" tyres. The rears need tubs as they just touch the fender lip over a bump. Have you ever fitted tubs? I haven't but it will be interesting!!

Tony, the Perth Motorplex only does 1/4 mile stuff (unless you want to do laps in the mud on the oval next door). Barbagallo for track laps otherwise your best bet being down south is the Collie Motorplex, they have track days quite regularly. Check their website...

275/50 are still currently listed here Deano (not to say that he isn't slack in updating his website)

Emailed them ages ago and was told; "The 275/50R15 is a problem, there is nothing done any longer in a road tyre as the size is just not popular to warrant a complete run of tyres. The drag radial is the only one. " The same story as everywhere else. Cheers though Jase! *Thread steal complete*:p
