Thanks Marty it was a great weekend went through five bottles of NOS but it was worth it the car went really well . What a awsome event being able to drive your car flat out and drag race your mates side by side .

Lyndsay sucked 2x valves in with his Procharged LS1 on Methanol, repaired it overnight but it still wasn't quite right, so it went on the trailer and got towed back to Kalgoorlie.

How could i forget Mitch :D, unfortunately i did'nt catch up with them again, however i did take the lovely Cat (the blonde chic we saw on the golf buggy) out for some laps. Found it difficult to concentrate on the road ahead of me for some reason, especially after helping her buckle up the harness :D:D

It almost looked like you meant to throw it round when you realised that it wasn't going to pull up... The commentators were talking you up big time when it happened, they loved it!!

Well after Power Cruise and talking with my mate Lozza in the FULYSIKTT (not much Muscle Car) we took it down to BYE Performance who is another mate just starting out and had the ASTRO6 VP Wagon.... anyway he has himself a nice new Mainline Dyno and wanted to have a play with the Supra to see if he could extract some more HP.

The Supra was supposedly pushing 450rwhp after the fitment of a twin HKS/Garret high mount kit and a tune in Kalgoorlie... but alas, it just didn't have the go to match those figures on the track... On Tassone's dyno it only pushed 360rwhp :(

SO..... off to BYE we go and checked the mapping which needed a fair bit of work to get right... The test HP run showed the same as Tassone's dyno. We picked up about 25hp with some tiny changes and then went for another power run which showed 475hp.. Then we had issues, it started loosing boost. Went from 19psi down to 9psi...

Narrowed it down to a Waste Gate getting stuck open :( Lucky me got to go in the next day and pull it apart to fix it up.... Also found that the cat was cactus and after walking around the back of the car and there was little bits of black crap everywhere!!

Pulled the cat out and disposed of the remaining offending blockage....and pieced the turbo system back together.

On the dyno again and whalla.. Straight to 494rwhp. :)

Time to see if we can crack the magic 500... Took the 20's off and put the 18's on the rear and all we did was smoke the tyres and cover the gaurds in rubber :P

20's back on and 21psi and gave it another go... Whalla...510hp and 962nm of torque....

Dropped it back to 19psi and 497rwhp for the street.

Off to the drags tonight to see what it does. It was good for a 13.3 in stock form and Lozza can't drive for ****e so you never know, he might crack a 12 hahahaha....

Yep, thats correct.. He is awaiting a four link rear and a decent diff then he will be able to harness some of that power and use the giggle gas....
