Well as the title says.. I am in need of a Big Block 427 Chev motor... complete or just the block..
Prefer Victoria (Australia), but would consider visiting nearby states.

what about a brand new crate engine? :D
looking in the low 13k range but for one (dyno tested to approx 450hp)

ooooo.... i have seen the options for crate motors.. even considered a 502.. but for some reason i want to build one myself.. willing to seperate a block for me :p

Brother steve, i still reckon you should put a 502 in it!!! ....but you'd probably need to put it on gas if you actually want to drive it further than the milk bar though!! hahahaa

...actually i dont think i asked you about this steve, but what are you going to be doing about a petrol tank (im asuming LPG is out of the question huh)...

relax.. petrol is cheap....
nah i know i can't use the standard tank.. it's too small.. hoping along the way i get a good contact that can build be a custom fuel tank :)
So if anyone knows someone.. please pass the name along :p

i can build ya a alloy fuel tank to what ever size u need, internal baffles etc

Just out of interest what would someone expect to pay for a custom tank?

how bout a sheet metal tunnel ram to suit bbc???? doing one for my motor very soon, ill put the pics up when done.
