Mid Winter Cruise to Healesville - 11th of July

This will be my first Cruise since I bought the Impala! Can't wait.

http://www.letsgocruisin.com.au/cruisin-mid-winter.html

The second Sunday in July, will again bring the sound of rumbling engines to the ranges N/E of Melbourne when we host our annual Mid Winter Cruise to Healesville.

After more than 100 entrants came along in 2006, then 160 + turned up in 2007, followed by nearly 200 in 2008, we figured there's enough hardy street rod, custom, muscle and pre '75 chrome bumper classics enthusiasts willing to again enjoy a brisk winters day cruising in their favourite car even if the windows are up and the heater's cranked. So rain, hail or shine, we've arranged another Mid Winter cruise with:

Reserved parking adjacent the town's main precinct
Kid's activities
Lucky entrant's prize pool
Lots to see & do in Healesville
LGC is VicRoads approved for red plate events ( all CR, H & SR vehicles)

Start 1: Mornington
The registration will open for the cruise at 8:00am in the Peninsula Lifestyle Centre on Nepean Hwy, Mornington. Register, collect your lucky entrant ticket and be ready to cruise up Eastlink at 9:00am sharp! A breakfast & coffee deal is available at the Sober Mule Café.

[B]Start 2: Bayswater
Register for the cruise here with the Let's Go Cruisin' Team at Repco in Canterbury Rd just over the intersection of Canterbury & Bayswater Rds from 9:00 am. Collect your lucky entrant ticket, cruise details and be ready to cruise at 10:00 am. Breakfast is available at McDonalds on the corner.

Destination
Destination is the car park in River St Healesville for a fun day enjoying this famous tourist town's many great facilities. Have a hearty hot lunch in one of the many pubs or cafes, take the kids for a ride on the railway's trolley car or perhaps go on to the Healesville Sanctuary. What else would you sooner be doing on a mid winter's Sunday? Prizes drawn at 2:30pm in front of the LGC tent.

Cost: $5/car. Registered entrants will receive a lucky entrant's ticket and we'll have lots of prizes to give away.

Yeah might come down to the Baysie spot to have a look, but not sure if we will do the cruise depends on the weather. Will be in the black impala or the black TA- so will say hello if you are there Jaso.

May not leave from Bayswater but may pop up to Healsville for lunch, obviously don't have my car so will be in my DD. My wife's parents live at Warburton and we are up that way all the time, so we may swing through there and then go on up and see them
