Hi all , :rolleyes:I wouldn't mind joining the club for a few reasons. One being simply to share our cars and meet people with a common interest and second - apparently if one has a car that infrequently hits the streets apart from those club days , events or taking the family out for a cruise , that it's cheaper register through a club.
So who would like to advise me on the above please. I have a 65 SS Impala.

Thanks all.

Yeah thats right. Its called Club Registration. You get your car inspected by a club member for it and can only get it if you are a member of a recognised club.

Personally though I think you are better off paying the extra couple of hundred and driving your car whenever and wherever you want.

AMCCA seems to be a good BS-free club and offers club rego. Not sure about WA, but going that way in NSW for rego and full insurance is about 80-90% cheaper

Might be worth a try, and switch to full rego if you find it too restrictive. I've been on club rego before and has suited me fine.
