why are so many imported cars mostly always sold as unregisted?, i would of thought it would be easier to sell a car registed, i can see interstate issues, but if i was in the market to buy, i would prefer the registed over the unregisted!!!!!!!!

The cost to make them roadworthy I guess :confused: fixing everything that's wrong with some of these cars would definately eat into the importers profit.

...and it costs $620 p/a to register. So if a cars sits for 6 months, there's over $300 wasted. =plus transfer fees when it does sell.

"vehicle can be driven to and from any club event or for maintenance"
$65 a year including third party insurance and no stamp duty.
Just don't abuse it and it'll stay that way, we hope.

yeah I know there is club rego for $170 a year same as NSW's historic rego - but even that is almost triple the price!!!

shows how much we are paying in qld.

Sheridan - dont really want to be restricted to only what the club wants to take part in. If I am at home on a sunday and feeling like taking it through the mountains but cant because of rego that will suck - plus cant do formals or weddings for non family members
