Hi Guys,

Happened to stumble accross the site, pretty cool.. really enjoyed the build up on the 67 Camaro too, wish I was that mechanically minded lol.

I'm planning a trip to the US next year, probably late Feb. I'm hoping to bring back a car:- I am actually looking towards a camaro myself. I have noticed a few of you have brought cars back from the states and I am just wondering what options are available to me. I have looked into a few different avenues, including http://www.americanmusclecars.com.au/ but I am sure there is much more research for me to do.

I always thought there was a possibility of bringing back a shipping container to Aust? I am located in Queensland and probably the best shipping dock for me would be Brisbane, but this may not be an option? I have only heard of cars coming in to 3 docks with goods from the US in Adelaide, Melbourne & Sydney?.

A shipping container would be ideal as I guess you could fit a few cars in, or perhaps other items of interest...?

Any info would be much appreciated.. If you want to contact me outside the forum, my email is cavanor@internode.on.net

Thanks guys,

Rick.

Don't know much about where you can ship them too, but i'm sure someone would be able to confirm it all for you..

All i know is try and cram as much into the container as possible to make it worth your while.. if you come accross wrecks cheap put them in.. you never know what you might need as a spare part..

And I won't complain if you put in a 427 for me ;) If you do go and are 100% you are doing a container, let us know i might have a few things i'd pay ya to get me...
