I was working all day  would like to catch up with you guys and introduce myself. Hopefully there'll be a get together in June, when I have most of the weekends free.

Regards from Down Under:cool:

Great day out. Awesome weather, couldn't have asked for better (apart from the freezing start to the day). Big turnout, and the prize money brought out some really nice cars:

Hmmm, nice red camaro there. Pity the "old girl" came. The noise inside the car was louder than the exhaust !!!

Peter, ha ha, yeah nothing like the soothing sound of a rumbling V8

I was planning to be there till my wife wakes up Sat and informs me I'm looking after our 4yr old all day. I would have bought her with me as she loves cars but she has food allergies (like 100's) and it's a major project to pre-prepare her lunch and snacks to go out for a day...

That 56 sure does look mint, and the runner up is pretty damn nice as well, looks like a great day

The problem with taking the uniformed Missus is the comments. "Whats that silly thing going thru the bonnet" , "why are the front wheels so skinny", "how come we are stopping for petrol again"
Wah wah wah> Trouble is she enjoyed it and will want to come again !!!

Better to have the bride enjoying and not understanding than the other way around.
we all know when the bride is not happy then no-one is happy:rolleyes:

Funny report in the Sun paper that says when there is a happiness imbalance in a marriage (ie the hubby is very happy) wives start divorce proceedings way way more than husbands who have very happy wives.

They just can't handle us having fun.....

Seriously though Peter my wife would say all the same things, in fact I can hear her voice in the back of my head, worse though she wouldn't have a good time....but my daughter like cars so she'll come along with me
