The Australian dollar opened stronger this morning, having punched through the $US87 cents mark, setting a fresh 18-year high on the back of further weakness in the US dollar.

THE Australian dollar closed above $US0.9500 today for the first time in 24 years after the fastest annual core inflation growth since 1991 convinced traders interest rates could rise again next month.
The domestic currency is tipped to hit a new post-float high if strong retail trade data stirs inflationary fears.
At 1700 AEST, the Australian dollar was trading at $US0.9503/07, up one US cent from yesterday's close of $US0.9402/06.
During the day, the local unit traded between a low of $US0.9441 and a 24-year high of $US0.9514.
Ill be on ebay thanks :D
