Hi Guys just wanted to let you know some info on my 67 Camaro,I have had it just over a year now and have done a full front end freshen, new engine, gear box and suspension.
It hase a 468 BB ,4 bolt ,roller cam ,forged pistons ,elderbrock rectangle port heads with matching manifold and 850 demon. Exhaust is 1 7/8 headers and twin 3 inch mandrel system.
The box is a turbo 400 with a 3500 rpm converter the diff is a chevy 12 bolt but will have the 9inch soon.
I fitted a set of lowered pedders springs and all new neathane bushes everywere, a rear mounted fuel pickup with 1/2 inch fuel lines.
For booster clearence I fitted a lh torana booster with a hj master cylinder.
Next will be the 9inch then a set of 20inch rims for the street and if it does not run a ten more engine.

Wow - Sweetly sorted BBC there Jason! Your progress puts mine to shame given the same ownership period - Congrats!!
Am sure you will get a few opinion here about keeping the 12-bolt & 15s, but we are also well aware that uniquness & personality is what USM is all about! (Is why i went straight for 9" & saving for 19s ;))
Supersweet ride & welcome!
Beautiful 67 there Jason, nice work on the front end freshen up. What sort of HP are you achieving with the BBC?
Cheers,
Lyndsay

Thanks Lyndsay ,The 468 was built to make 600hp not quite sure if it does, but it feels good would not have done 1000 kms yet I will put on a dyno soon and find out were its at.

Hi Jamie the engine is very streetable it is very smooth, doesn't get hot and my wife drives it some times in trafic with no probs. It has 10 to 1 comp and the roller cam has 630 thou lif not too aggressive, if I ever rebuilt it I would start with more comp and bigger cam prob a stroker crank would be good.

Nice one Jason. Was considering the same sizes (one day). Got any more pix/specs (inb tyres & b/s) for us?
Look forward to your thoughts on ride quality too.

Very nice 67.. :)
As predicted..
Keep the 12 Bolt!
Why on Earth do you want a heavy, power sapping, FORD part in your car?
Advantage being?

Hey Deano
The front are 18 x 8 with 4.5 inch offset and 235 x 40 x 18s the rear are 19 x 10 with 5.6 inch offset and 275 x 35 x19s. I could have gone wider on the rear like a 295 or 305 I just didn't want it to rub.
