Nice pics mate, seems to be a bit of a Mopar theme running through there.
I took alot of the same cars pics so I won't bother posting.

My favourite for the day would have to be the GT500 Mustang with the CJ428 number plate.
Some wild cars down there though, I could have taken mine cause there were alot in way worse condition.
My goal though is to have mine finished for Big Als next year.

Hey Justin, You are talking about peoples pride and joys, what suits some people doesn't suit others, but calling someones car **** will only get you offside.

Well mate after reading this post I would say all the guys that gave you a great welcome will now think of you in a different light.
After looking at other posts you have put up I can see why you have no idea and thats because you are a kid;)
Stick to school mate and learn respect and hopefully you will get somewhere in life;)

We also got flipped a Joker !!!

It was our first "Poker Run" and we had a ball it was good to see such a great turnout and all of the cars that haven't been seen before it truly was an eye opener.

The cruise itself was a blast and we even managed to stay married with Christine doing an awesome job navigating after only getting us lost once !!!

The organisers and the volunteers doing a great job making it probably the most memorable cruise that I have ever been on :D :D

Chris if your car is the one in your avatar it was one of my favourites for the day, was it parked next to an equally bright orange Pontiac?
I loved that green, sitting in the sun it stood out like dog balls. The old man wasn't to keen on the colour but I loved it. An awesome looking machine.

I like all types of camaros and other makes, from original to modified. I cant see what the problem is? Does everything have to be original?

The orange Pontiac is actually my 78 Camaro also ;) ;)

With the green I wasn't too keen on it originally but it has grown on me, I wanted something different.

Great photos guys. This is the first Big Al's I have missed in a few years either as a participant or spectator as I was in Sydney for Top Gear live. This was meant to have been the deadline for having my car finished, but hope it will be the next one instead. I reckon the idea to get all the usmuscle.com.au cars together is a great idea. Looks like there is a stack of new cars out and about.

 Judging by huge gathering this year i would'nt be surprised if Big Al has to find a bigger park for the next one.

with regards to having a usmuscle.com.au display be aware that means getting there early. I have helped with parking before and it is no easy task and all 700 cars want to park with their mate.......
We have 3-4 guys who get there at 9am and set-up camp, but come 12 its all holds barred as space fill up.

Your not wrong Alan, We went in at 10am and struggled to find a bit of shade. there wes plenty of space in the open, but we all copped the sun for the six hours we were parked up. The causway end was jammed up solid by 1pm. You would definatly want to get a commited crew to be in there at 9am to get a prime piece of real estate.

From memory both Vanishing point and Deathproof ended up with the Challengers in a very sad state (although they probably used several cars)

I'd say the original Challenger from Vanishing point would be quite a collector's item though.

Just got home from the cruise down the freeway to Mandurah.
A great night for it and a fair few cars out n about.
The only problem was i was told they were goin to block the road off down on the main drag of town for us all but they didnt.
Besides that an awesome night and i'll post some pics up in the morning.

there was no road closure this year as it was the first time to Mandurah.
Previous years had gone to Rockingham and road closures had been going ahead up until last year when the council started playing funny buggers.

The council had members down there last night for a look and they are happy with the turnout and the well behaved nature of the cruise.
Expect this event to be MUCH better next year with road closures and bands etc
