Well seeing how U.S. Muscle is not that common in this part of the world I think we'll make this a spotted thread for the 'whole' Australia and not all the different states.
So what and where did you see it?
Sirgeo maybe we can make this a sticky?

There are two excellent late 70's early 80's Corvette's in the yard at the tiny Chevy dealership on Maroondah Hwy Croydon... I tried to convince the wife to turn around and have a look... but we were going to her mothers.. and i got shut down.. One Orange.. the other an odd Lime Green
Might go back next weekend and have a real look.

Unless you get an original one (which is rare as rocking horse sh*t) its just a kit car....... Hard to classify it as a muscle car really? more of a hot rod IMO

Well I came into the Melb CBD for work this weekend, and the way back I was stuck in traffic.. A trip that normally takes 15mins took me a little over an hour… Was a great day though (for Melbourne :p ) and I spotted a few nice cars in the traffic with me.. I was wishing I had a camera with me.. And then I remembered my phone…
I saw a blue 67/68 Camaro being followed by a poppy red 64/65 Mustang Coup (or at least I think it was that year, I'm not the best with the early ones).. that’s when I wish I had my camera… They turned off onto st.kilda road before I realised I had my phone.. (was there a car thing going on?)
I got a photo of a Valiant? And a later model Vette, sounded tough… don't think it was liking the traffic though..

Just the only one posting....I post mainly when I have time to snap a pic.
Some i've seen in the past few days.
I've seen 2 mid 60's mustang coupes a red one (north ringwood) and a pale metallic green with black vinyl roof (heathmont)
Also saw a very very nice blue 67 Camaro out my office window in Notting Hill....dropped the phone on my sales manager as I ran out the door but it was gone my time I got outside
Also saw a dumped 57 4 door pillarless belair with number plates crewsn last weekend in North Ringwood, sounded awesome and was way way low...

I know the guy with that 69 convertable. If it's the one i'm thinking of and i'm pretty sure it is, the guy recently finished a full resto on it for his misses to drive. It was parked in the pits at the nostalgia drags in Feb. Here's a pic of his matching big block coupe

I feel lucky that I didin't have any of you guys riding shotgun on my way home from work today, I would have been wiping your saliva out of the seams of the passenger seats for days............
Spotted: Oakleigh, North Rd, 5:50pm one black on black 2009-2010 (or whenever they have decided to release it) convertible camaro.
It had "left hand drive" in black letters on white background on the rear bumber, so I guess PBR is doing some testing/developing for it, and just to ruin your day.........will most likely crush it when they have finished with it, like they do with the Corvettes :(

There must be a few getting around.
I think there are a few in Adelaide, but you hardly see them around (excpet at shows)

So what is the deal with all of the LH drive cars running around.
Is this a field evaluation?
Will these cars be converted to RH drive?
Will RH drive come straight out of the factory or will they be converted here?

The Left-hand drive camaros we are seeing is all testing or field evaluation.
my understanding is that they will be released in 2012 in australia to be sold as a chevrolet Camaro and they will be right hand drive, but will not be sold at holdens car lots, GM have indicated they are going to be sold in uk and europe, so they might already have right hand drive Camaros made.

Birchy, if you are referring to the dark green big block Camaro, then yes he still has it. It is an original SS, but modified for strip duties. I think he is going to do some work to bring it back to a street car. He also has an awesome big block Chev truck that came in the same container that is reportedly a 10 sec car. That is also up for sale.
