Still a long way off the potential of the track and a very long way off feeding any drag racing demand we have over here.

Its nothing to do with standard, Bob the bastard wont accept the ANDRA insurance payment and he owes V8 Supercars even though they won a recent court case for non payment for the last race run at Calder years ago.
The guy is a P$#ck of the highest order.
The soonest he dies the better and hopefully his son has more sense :mad:

Does the Drag racing turn a profit?
Apparantly all the studies done by the group looking at the Motorplex for Adelaide show that these events can be run at a profit, so surely a larger city like Melbourne could make money.
If profitable, you would think simple business would dictate that it would worth running the events (even if the track owner doesn't like that particular form of motorsport)

Today I realize that this show is being held on a Saturday. :rolleyes:
Therefore, it will cost me at least $250 to attend. :mad:

Somehow, I think I'll choose to earn that money as opposed to attend the show.
Why a Saturday? Who hosts cars shows on Saturdays??
