I think it's been deliberately wriiten to confuse, I'm sure.
I'm not sure who is the agent, who is the principal and who is the 3rd party.
I can only assume that the agent is a customs clearance agent who specializes in clearing items through cistoms.
I'm also thinking that you are the principal (clue 2/i) and the supplier of goods is the 3rd party (clue 1/ii).
I mean, they could just say who is who!
Your company is not registered with the GST (You're importing as a private individual right?) so in Q6 answer No.
Supply a copy of your D/L to save time.
Make sure they are aware of the country where these wheels are made so any free-trade agreement (like Aus and USA) is duty free. You are always expected to pay the 10% GST.
Hope this helps.:)

so with the signiture ? do i sign 'for and behalf of ' ?
and also underneath?

Q 7 is you asking for the forms to set up a direct debit. If this is a once off thing, say no. I'm pretty sure they accept VISA
You really do need a reciept to help it through. There should have been copies stuck on the outside of the box for customs..
Eitherway, contact the seller for a fax or email copy to you.

It would appear your have goods greater then $A1000 and probably no supplier invoices or / or illegite receipts attached..
They probably will only proceed with you either in person down at Granville (Parramatta) (if post) OR by you getting your Customs Agent onto it for a formal clearance. The latter can cost .. maybe $300+ the tax's or GST. You need to get correct receipts for it.. not something you or a friend makes up.. go to the seller and get at least a scanned copy .. if they email it to you you can SAVE the email from the seller and attach it to your Customs Agents docs.
The place where you have the goods.. if not postal.. they will have a clearnance proceedure surely.
Either get some correct receipts with proof of purchase price paid and go down to Granville (if it is via post) or get the shipper to act as your agent.

Gav,
I expect i will get the call tomorrow. My wheels are in melb in "Customs release delay" according to the UPS tracking website. They got here at 4:32pm today.
As Steve has said, I suspect it is due to no receipt on the shipping info, so they don't know what the value is or origin of manufacture.
Have you call Jason, as a quick receipt would probably get them released pretty quick with only the 10% GST to pay.
I'm calling Customs first thing tomorrow
Sorry for the delayed response, just did Syd to Melb with a Campervan on the back and a 4 year old in 10.5 hours. 912Kms, 138 Litres of fuel...lost estimated 45 mins to fricken toilet stops...reckon I coulda done it closer to 9.5 hours with just 1 fuel stop

I think it means you are acknowledging that you are accountable for any GST payable, not UPS.

I think it's for you to fill out as yourself..
Where it asks for the name of company (2 places), fill in "private individual", -and the same in the position field at the bottom..
Fill in the company's name who sold you the goods in name of supplier/manufacturer.
The date goods shipped as of.. Today's??
If it's wrong, they'll let you know.
or call and ask first.

[I]...be careful - BETTER to get the us supplier to give manufactured origin declaration then you.. just because it came from the USA does not prove manufacturing origin.. and like 80% of the stuff from Ricks OR Classics.. it is not covered by the FREE TRADE AGREEMENT, with either take the gamble of getting caught or state a s UNKNOWN origin.. the fine is big now that your in the hands of a Customs Agent.. the fine for the CUSTOMS AGENT is also big too. Might be best to just pay whatever duty and GST on top and be done with it. Then again.. why not rip the government pricks while we can.
