What would you do differently if you could go back to the moment you chose your muscle car project?
I remember some of the failed projects in my past and wished I'd never started, or just bought a more solid car to begin with, how about you guys?

I would have worked on it myself instead of paying other people for botch it up for me.
Seriously, I wouldn't have bought the car. I should have bought an all original SS L89 396/375, They were much cheaper back then, and that's considering inflation.

I think I would have spent more money for a better condition car. If I would where to add up the total cost for body and paint repair it would far exceed the cost of a mint car. Having said that I now know my car is rust and bog free. To buy a "mint" car is still risky until you see it back to the bare metal

Don't think I would have done anything differently other than hand pick a car myself in the US.
Having said that I'm more than happy with my purchase, even if it did take longer than expected to rebuild it.

Yep, just did exactly that with a VJ Charger.. Now the other one I bought will be a donor for the project and the best part is my newest car is a factory 4speed and has great floorpans to boot.
Definately spend a bit more up front and save $$ down the track.
