Winter in the UK, i did that once, go to work in the dark, come home in the dark, might be lucky or unlucky and get some snow even.
On car front, you will come back a Turbo Diesel fan :( . You might be very lucky and spot a Monaro, couple over there i saw, also went on winery/brewery tour in the country side and in this little town, we went past a house with 2 Cuda's in the driveway, only US Muscle i saw in the 8 months or so i was there.

Like ben was saying,go to work in the dark and come home in the dark.
Having a shower and clearing your sinuses and coughing up black sh1t from all the pollution it the air (london).:(
On a plus is the tube in london, its great but you dont get too see too much.
"mind the gaps please.....doors closing"
and everything is so close, you dont have to travel very far to get out of the big smoke to be in the country side.
Go and see a football game,we saw chelsea at stanfordbridge even though im a liverpool supporter. The crowds are awesome!!!

Welcome Tom, your ride looks awsome, can you post some pics, so we can get a good look? I am also a member on Lateral G, I was in Florida 2 years ago on holiday and caught up with Frank and Lisa from Prodigy Custom. I went to SEMA this year and caught up with a few guys from Lateral G and also went to the Protouring dinner with some other guys from this site.

G'day Tom, welcome to the other side. I was in Florida a couple of years ago, lots of muscle cars there. My old man had a Rambler back in '70/71. Love what your planning.

Just moved back home after 13 years in the USA.
My business partner is originally from Brisbane and runs the US operations running around playing with cars mainly in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and California. Occasionally when a trip comes together they are further afield like a recent one to Missouri to collect a Malibu ski boat, take it to the port for RO-RO shipping, then to Arizona to collect a sand drag car, then to Colorado to inspect/purchase a 1969 Mustang followed by North Dakota to buy a drag Harley and then back home.
The last trip I did before leaving was 16,000km from Washington state to Florida, the Carolinas and back including moving 6 cars and packing a couple of containers.
