“The Last of the Chrome Bumpers”, 5th Annual Cora Lynn Country Car Show and Market Swap Meet,
Recreational Reserve. Cora Lynn, (Mel ref. 14 -R15)
a picnic day event, just 10 minutes south of Pakenham,
open to all hot rods, classic cars, sports car, utes, pickups up to 1978, the day includes a Poets Breakfast, vintage and classic truck show, vintage caravan display, vintage stationary engine display,
Children's amusements and rides, trophies for all categories, display car and driver free entry,
general public $5 per person, kids under 12 free, a wide variety of food is available

This show is really big if the weather is good. Get there reasonably early for a spot.

Anyone intersted in going to this ? Weather forecast is good. Maybe meet up somewhere and go together ? I will be coming from the Warrandyte area

sounds good coming from the same sort of area, but isn't Bathurst 1000 on? if it is i have a problem.

Bathurst in on October 8-11. So we're safe.
I'm going, keep an eye out for my black 68 camaro.

Bathurst is the following week, wanna meet say Ringwood and cruize there ??

cora Lynn park is in Brighton (melways 68 - E8) and melways reference map 14 is in Keilor, where abouts in Pakenham is it?

Yeah this is one of the best shows to go to,and is a great family day out.

It was a great day!! I would estimate 6-700 cars! The oval was packed, and all the surrounding spaces, including the swap meet paddock next door! Heaps of cool yankee muscle cars!

Yeah great day and a nice drive there on the freeway. Muscle cars, hot rods, steam engines, trucks, caravans, tractor pulleys, swap meet and even plane engines and free entry.
A must for next year.
