Hi All,
Though i might throw up some pics of my and my GS's Camaro since this is the place for it.

I have had Katarina (her name) for about 2 years. When i first got her she was the hugely ugly Butternut Yellow i refer to it as Postit Note yellow:D . No offence if you like the colour i just dont.

She arrived in fairly good shape with NO rust though the entire body. No replacement pannels at all. The only historical dings were in the back left hand corner where the panel was pushed down which is still sitting to low for my taste.

I have done alot of work to her personally with my limited knowledge mainly because im on the disability pension and dont have the money spare. Any spare i have from doing odd work here and there goes to parts.

The work i have done.

Full interior replacement with the 68 Camaro Interior Kit. Including Roof lining and carpet.

Repaired/Replaced the instruments (Speedo and Fuel) Lol

Repaired the centre console. (Broken by the alarm installer /sigh)

Replaced the chrome parts of the centre console.

Replaced the steering wheel with a nice black and chrome saas

Removed and replaced the entire wireing loom from the car bumper to bumper. That was a big job (7 Solid Days) could have been quicker but i wanted it done perfect and i had the time.

(Funny the people with the time have no money and the people with the money have no time  )

The exteral brightwork was all replaced bumper to bumper. I like the look of the chrome.

Replaced my wheels with mags Eagle's from the USA (Classic torque thruster style)

I installed a Full MSD RtR dizzy and blaster 2 (gen3) with an MSD AL2 sitting in the shed to move into it.

Hmm Oh i just replaced the 7" sealed headlights with Crystal Cut lamp housing and some uber bright halogen's

Replaced the tail light/break lights with Spegetti Enginnering LED ones.

The motor is a warm 350 with a t350 behind it. Diff well its buggered so i need a new one of some kind.

Removed the side markers.

I just purchased a set of 4 Carbon Fibre Guages and the autometer pod (4 slots) for the front of the centre console. I have a friend who coats plastic with wood grain so im going to get it done in the wallnut so it matches better. Did that just before the diff went (FTL)

The next steps are to get it out of the paint shop (Guy in a car park left me a nice dint and didnt leave a note). 9 weeks of saving to pay for that fix.

I got invited to run in the GP500 here on the Gold Coast on the 23rd and 24th so that should be fun if i get my diff issue fixed.

Last pic is me.

Ill post up some more pics later i suppose if people want to see.

2"Drop spindles on the front running HQ disks that have been Crossdrilled and vented. Is the suspension change only.

Honestly its uber low speed bumps are a pain.

Im hoping to put in Airride Shockwaves so i can run at what hight i like. Bag and shock in one FTW. Low or High on demand.

Typical seems you can get around it but it would be difficult. Mabe because im on disability and need to lower and raise the car to assist my entrance and exit lol?

Welcome mate thats one nice ride, i want to delete the side markers too i think it cleans up the lines IMO..
I think the biggest thing that is illegal with Air Bags is that all the Mini truck crowd notch the chassis
over the diff to really drop to the ground, not sure but thats what i have heard over here in the wild west...

Very nice Graham... What colour orange is that?

My 68 is also now orange, although it's not on the road and won't be for a very long time. I also have similar rims to yours. Coys C5's..

Its Lambo orange lol. with a gold flick. The white is pearlesent. Its very striking in the sun.

Anyway my diff died again after seal and bearing replacement so now its up high and dry.

So now its not on the road at all :(

On the bright side the painter used did an amazing job on the dint. It was a huge pushin on the back left quarter that is in the above photo. Atleast that went well.

Graham,

That is a beautiful Camaro. Love the colour combo and the stance is killer.

Bag it, we need to see some dumped Camaro's around here.

What is your current ride height. I'm running coilovers but have ability to move to bags as a bolt in swap. I'm looking to have it run 100mm ground clearance (lowest legal)

To be honest its to low for regular use. I hit my pipes all the time on speedbumps and ramps. The rear had a 2 inch lowering block and the front has 3 inch lowered spindles.

I am going to airbag when the fund some (Could be a while) got to buy a diff first.

Is your coil an MSD Blaster 2 or 3?

Yep.. "It is recommended to mount the PN 8202 and 8223 coils in an upright position.." ;)

So to the audio.

Dynamatt the doors.

Install JL Audio 6.5 Speakers in the door.

http://lh5.ggpht.com/_1ncUZ9iT4LU/TICMibFLe1I/AAAAAAAADMs/PYZOrW8R2wQ/s400/IMG_0129.JPG

A nice set of pioneer reference 6x9 in the parcel shelf.

http://lh6.ggpht.com/_1ncUZ9iT4LU/TICMo5YemcI/AAAAAAAADM0/UAh8IsfniEI/s400/IMG_0133.JPG

A Little Alpine Amp

http://lh5.ggpht.com/_1ncUZ9iT4LU/TICRa0oxygI/AAAAAAAADN8/DsljWWQcDT0/s400/IMG_0130.JPG

And a Head unit that knows its letters JVC
A2DP for bluetooth streaming
Dual USB for usb keys
Full Bluetooth car phone kit
Aux In on the front as well

http://lh4.ggpht.com/_1ncUZ9iT4LU/TICPH8UwDrI/AAAAAAAADNQ/UbzIeq1_uYI/s400/IMG_0134.JPG

Now to install an Infrared relay agent so the head unit remote still works with the glovebox closed.

The relay is on the right of my guages. Its a temp location atm.

Works great. no huge impact on the car. Amazing sound. Easy to work.
