Retreiving Posted Images from USM

Heyaz,

Can any of the friendly Admin types advise if there's an easy way to retrieve all the images I've posted on USM?

A 'mate' accidentally wiped my laptop hard drive completely when reloading XP, losing all my files, images and everything :eek: . Even programs like 'GetDataBack' have proven fruitless. So just trying to scrape together anything that I can :(

I have a few folders on my work PC & some files on a USB, but otherwise it's all gone bye byes. Including dozens of specific 'inspiration' pix for the Camaro project, and progress thus far.

No, I didn't back up and yes, I will from now on... :o

Deano Ive recovered files from a totaly screwed hard drive that was later formatted.. but the important thing is to not write to the disk.. Which I am assuming you have due to reinstall of XP..

I'll have alook through my old 'tools' and see if I can find what I used if you want.. might be worth a second try..
but best bet it to install on another PC and recover from formatted drive to separate drive.. 'ie DONT write to it' Depends on how desparate you get..

To get your old pics you will have to go through your old posts and just a right click on it and save the image... No quick way to do unfortunately..

You can get software that will grab every picture on a webpage. Handy if you have multiple pic posts on a page.

But it will grab every graphic.

Also, I can't think of what it is called to save myself.

Maybe you could try some creative googling..
