I,m waiting also. Sheetmetal guy who will do my car at his home, says later in the year :(
Frustrating because the car is ready to go now except for the rust in the floor. Not game to go for the roadworthy as is. Just dont know how fussy you have to be with Vic Roadworthy and rust

I think everyone is at the "I'm waiting for things that are out of my hands to get done" stage :p
I'm slowly working on getting my doors up to scratch, will be putting them in soon (I hope). But I need to put my guards on, but I can't because I need the sub frame in, but I can't do that until it's assembled, and I want to wait for my brakes to come in before I start assembling them..
So I'm stuck too :p Might just fit it up and pull it off and pout in the brakes when they get in.
Have to go pick my new guards etc, would have gone this weekend but I have a wedding to go to..
Here's a question for ya's, my old door that is still good to go, I want to rip out the window to make it easier to move around and paint, as I've got it all tapped up now, but it's hard working around it. But some people have been telling me not to take them out unless I absolutely have too.
My new door came without the windows (but I have the old ones to switch) too, so I'm thinking I might as well take out the windows from my other door.. Anyone suggest against doing that? Is it as hard a job as people say? Putting windows back in a door (including the '67 1/4 windows)…?
From what I can see it doesn't seem that hard or complicated, but I've been wrong plenty of times before :p …..

Yeah a tad quiet lately.. i think we need more nudity.... chicks that is :P
With me lately im prepping my "daily" for Dutton Rally when it comes to Perth in July 27-29... me and the missus are driving the 3 days.. over 30 events in the weekend alone.. i hope my R-spec tyres will hold up :s
Sirgeo: just take windows out and maybe just tape any sharp area's to save scratching the glass? maybe a pain in the a$$ but its better than getting overspray on it! besides there is always glass on sale if it doesnt go all right

running a stock engine, driveline.. just usual mods: coilovers, sway bars...very sticky on the track.

lol... not the cheap daily I pictured for you to run around in :p
That should handle the leisurely pace of the Dutton nicely :p

tell me about it... did a rear diff recently at 25k (on 32k now) and that was changed under warranty... apparently supply cost is 6K :O
interesting point though, its funny jumping from the STi with its 2.5 turns lock - lock and going into that cadillac with its boat like steering... shows how much technology has come and changed and how we take it for granted hehe

I can post up more "bling" images...
My stainless steel bolt kit, billet door strikers and Detroit Speed and Engineering narrowed fuel tank plus LED back up lights all arrived last week....
Wheels arrive this week and I get to visit the car....
But thought my pics might be boring people as pics of things in boxes ain't as sexy as pics of car progress....
