Armadale Auto Parts Open Day
when- 29/11/2009 10am-2pm
where-23 Gillam Dr, Kelmscott WA
whats on- basically what we do is close the road in front of our shop of for about 500m, we park all the cars along the road or in front of other shops along the road.
its open to any modified or classic car, free to enter.
There is a sausage sizzle provided by West Side Junior Drag Racing Assoc(profit to charity) product demos, give-aways etc etc.
Last year we had approx 280 cars turn up.

I have been to all of these and from fairly humble beginnings this has grown into a huge day.

If you are in Perth and haven't been to this day before get youself down there. If you have been before, hope to see you there again.

If our blown altered drag car is running hopefully we will be there doing start ups again so come say hello. Either way my 34 coupe and or 66 Chev will be there.

its pretty hard to save spots, but if somebodt gets there early and knows how many cars are coming you may have a chance.
Either that or all turn up together!

Paul the new wheels looked great in the flesh. Hope the get together and cruise went well! :D

Did'nt take any pics either sorry guy's, but John (BIANTE12) was there snapping away as usual so hopefully he will post up a few pics. Great day out with a lot of nice cars on display, was great to catch up and chat with a lot of the guys from the forum as well and then a few of us finished the day with a short cruise back to Chris's place for a yarn and a quiet drink.....

Sorry lyndsay i didnt get to catch up with you mate,i was under the trees out of the sun in arvo as i got sooo frickin sunburnt in the morning!!!:(
But yeah it was good to catch up with some of the guys on the day and couldnt get over the amount of cars that were there!!!

Thanks Plodge and everyone at Armadale Auto Parts for a great day, maybe next year you will need to block off 2 or 3 streets judging by the amount of cars there !!!

Some people must have camped overnight to get the prime spots !!

Next year I will be ther earlier with a a shade tent then settle in for the day (out of the sun)
