Nice work!
I'm going to be placing a LS2 in my Camaro. I haven't decided what Computer to run. Which one are you going with?

I used stock GM computers for both engine and auto and custom made harness from LSX in sydney Ian has been a big help in this build I have no problems in recomending him and his company LSX to anyone thinking about doing this swap. Hopefull if this week runs to plan to fire it up next weekend its been a huge learning experience doing this would be a lot easier if you lived in major city Good luck with camaro swap.

Thanks Malibu67, best of luck with the finishing touches. Keep us posted on the progress. Would also be really interested in hearing any useful pointers/tips you've come across or challenges that myself and others may face when doing this transplant.
Thanks

Hmmm.. That looks really nice. Are you going to put the OE plastic engine covers on it or leave it as is?
I think it suits the car way better without. Much more of a 60s muscle car look.

Good question I know what you mean you can get edelbrock coil covers that look old skool now but but put stock cover on it and it supprised me it did look good because motor sits lower than in commodores it seemed to tidy it up so spent some time with some fiberglass filler covered up holden badge and 5-7 logo filled in dipstick and trans filler holes etc, and may just wrinkle black it with 2 small chev bowtie badges on cover any way give me something to play with See what it looks like and try again

I will post more info on what I had to do when its done. My problem was that I started a while back doing this swap but in the last year aftermarket companies are full on into it you can get everthing now but put some thought into it as not all parts go with each other some companys parts only work if you use all there entire set up for swap and if you go to site like chevelle or camaro tech you will find and am talking chevelles anyway that everyone has there own way of mounting it in chassis re/ set back, height, etc Starting with theright sump is the best advice I can give you to start with But if you really want to do it email me and will help any way I can .And thanks guys for the Complements

Started it on Monday then played all week on bits and pieces. It started first go after getting some oil around and today drove it into town to get wheel align drove good but took it easy no rego yet and no bonnet on car till can get someone to help fit it. So I am happy, no doubt there will be a few things to fix or change but that's ok Next step is to get it to engineer for report then off to tuner and get back springs lowered. All fun
