not long to go now.....
this time in 2 weeks it will be all go.
If you have a car and were thinking og entering get a wriggle on...
we need more US muscle at the show!
I know we have Barry's Camaro and another very tough Pro-touring style 69 Camaro but we always like to see more.
I have even entered the road runner even though its no show car just because there arent any others entered;)
Man would love to go to that. but my lil girl will be 2 days old.

Plodge loved the roadrunner, first one I have seen in the flesh. Loved the free birdseed to.
Some beautiful cars down there. The yellow Challenger that was parked out the front was pretty flash to. Was good to see the cars out there aswell as the ones inside.
Don't know who owned that custom batmobile replica but as cool as it was you have to much money and should give some to me.
With all the beautiful cars there I think I would love to have a drive of one of those off road buggies the most. They look like fun.

thanks for the comments on the roadrunner.
believe it or not the yellow challanger is my old car I sold 5 years ago!
And the batmobile has been built by a really good customer of our shop. He has been building Mad Max Interceptors for a number of years and sold one to a rich japanese businessman a few years ago. They put on their website they would like to build one eventually, the japanese guy saw that and rang up and said " I would like batmobile Tumbler, I transfer $100k, tell me when you need more!!"
It is an engineering masterpiece that actually drives etc. It has a 454 on NOS (that we supplied) and we have helped him with all sorts of odd requests
They have also started a replica of the Rubber Ducky from Convoy!!

Thats what blew me away about that Batmobile, the time money and skill that went into it was absolutely amazing. I stood there for ages trying to look it over. But for a regular Joe like me spending that sort of cash on something you can't drive on the road is insane.
That said if I won lotto i'd buy one and a huge property to drive it around on. Actually i'd probably get the Interceptor first. That was one of my first loves.

Sounds to me from what has been said earlier that it was built for fun. I haven't seen batman recently but i'm pretty sure its not to scale - but still damn impressive. Whoever built it has some skills.

its very close to correct scale, these guys spend a fair amount of time researching to get things right. They also got info from a couple of US website with Tumbler replicas for sizes and info.
The japanese owner wants to pull up to Starbucks in Tokyo with it on a saturday night......
whoaa that guy from Japan is nuts... cool car, but why?? Now the interceptor is more like..

the japanese guy already has an Interceptor replica and a couple of euro supercars ( Lambo, ferrari) so I guess he just wants something different.
