Yep, Wild Boyz have a huge area this year, were in the same area as you guy's - Section C, so nice and close to catch up for a drink and a chat. You camping as well ? we are, will be heading down on friday arvo.

Noticed today that the "B1GV8" Stato has pulled out after some damage at Summernats and the HK "UCSMOKE" is heading over for a "skid" ("burnout" for you eastern states guys :p ) instead..........

Gonna be hot on Sunday (42 predicted) so maybe Sat will be more bareable as far as heat goes.
Plenty of parking available but will depend on how early you arrive as to how far you need to walk to the gate.
I can only get there Sunday so it's looking like we'll be slip, slop, slapping heaps.
I believe there will be plenty of action on both days

Crap loads of parking Birchy... Just don't take the Muzzy mate as it will be parked out with all the rest of the plebs and they generally don't give a fruck about your nice paint work...

Was definately driving the rollerskate Mitch, although I dont know that my paint would be considered nice.. you obviously havent seen it closer than 10ft. Not that its running right now anyway as I have the fuel sender out at the moment and the shifter still to sort out (5 days and counting - stupid idea that was)

Going to go on Sunday me thinks.. want to go first thing and make a day of it, but don't want to wait around till 9pm to see Marty go at it (I am assuming he and Jamie will make the final of course ;) )

If that's true Muggz something needs to be done about it. I would hate to see someone die at an event like this due to a blatant lack of care! Thankfully most people that enjoy our sport are good people that do care what happens to others. Typical attitude from security ( I used to work in security!), so the guy got carried away no need to treat him like that. No wonder Perth is getting such a bad rap when cr@p like this goes down.

this one i was very impressed with, was built here and has the best of everything, 498ci BB, DSE 4-link rear end and the build quality is right up there with Chris's 68 - apologies for the picture quality but the glare from Sun did'nt help. I also heard a build cost figure for this car as well :eek: :eek: :eek:

Only got a chance to speak very briefly to the owner of the one in the top pic as he was heading off for a walk, the only info i managed to get out of him was that it's only been in the country about 2 months and he plans on racing it very soon so i'll keep an eye out for it down at the drags. The other one was in the Elite pavilion so no chance to catch up with the owner but i'm sure we will see a feature on it in the PSC mag soon. Was a pretty damn good weekend and the car was going better than ever, then started lacking power in the skid so i drove it off, as i was driving it off it aquired a fair bit of a knock, there is bearing material in the filter too. So tommorrow im off to pick up my engine crane from a mate and then she is coming out. If its gonna cost too much to fix im gonna put the 383 in the corner and build a cheap 350 n get it licensed.. fun n games till someone fxcks a bearing.. cant complain though these things happen and i had FUN.

After the last 2 shows, I am totally over them, has to be the most boring way to spend a weekend, sitting around etc also I hate going to a show and seeing the same old cars year after year so I thought 2 is enough. Motorvation would have been a little different but I lost all inclination to spend 2 weeks detailing the car especially over Christmas and the temps that we have been having and I have started on the Chevelle and once I start something it seems to take over any spare time that I have :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
