I've been keeping in touch with the guy that bought my old impala and it's for sale, wish i had the cash to buy it back but not gonna happen unfortunately

Healthy 327 with a 750dp holley (if i remember correctly)
built t350 with a 3500 stall and full manual valve body
B&M megashifter
12 bolt rear end
i'll paste the upgrades David has done since he bought it off me and then let the pics do the talking

'What I have done since I got the car from you is

Recore the radiator, then fitted twin thermo fans & aluminium overflow bottle (car doesn't get hot, runs like a dream)
New Water pump and hoses
New plugs and 10mm ignition leads
Overhauled the power steering pump and new engine mounts
Recond torque converter and check auto trans, all well
New wheel bearings front and rear
Cleaned and check rear brakes, all good now
Upgraded front brakes to Disc brakes, (new discs, overhauled calipers, new master cylinder and booster)
New air cleaner and check and clean carby, now has full throttle, gets up and goes
Suspension, new coils front and rear, new shocks front and rear, the car has been lowered 3" front and rear (looks real cool now)
All new bushes front and rear on the suspension
New ball joints and tie rod ends, inner and outers
New tyres on the rear
Finished the interior off, all done now
New big tacho and oil, temp gauges
Fitted new Radio/CD player with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters with remote control
I have all new door seals and new boot seal
New wiper motor
New exhaust from the extractors back
Modified the bracket for the alternator and fitted the the high rise tappet covers
New arm rests and window winders front and rear

The price for the car is $13,000 with the plates FIRM'

Let me know if your interested and i'll send you his details
cheers
Trav

btw to avoid confusion, it is a 1968 shape impala, but was sold new in 1969 and registered as a 1969 model, however if you know your impalas you'll know the 69 has quite different front and rear ends, hence the 69 chev plates on a 68 shape impala:)

Maybe this is the one I saw at Willeton a few weeks ago?

Welcome aboard Trav. Personally I hate knowing how my old cars are fairing, especially if you see them on a regular basis..

Barry might know someone who's looking for something like this as he was asking after another one in the Spotted Thread.

i havn't heard from dave in a while
give him a buzz on 0407422012 and see if he still has it, tbh i'd be surprised if he did, most people keep them if they can't sell after so long:)

There's a good chance it did get sold. It was listed on Carsales etc around the same time as this thread was started. Was up for a month or so, then disapeared completely.
