I have attached a pic of my 1972 Olds Cutlass ... the paint is sunburnt from 7 years sitting in a Perth Customs yard apparently after the U.S. serviceman owner went back to the States not knowing what he was going to do with his now RHD cutlass !

She's now running a 425ci Olds big Block out of a 1966 hardtop i used to own.

Trans is a T350 (with a bad leak right now )

The paint in the door jambs is like new ... so she'll probably get restored back to an olive green with gold fleck through it ... different but cheaper that way ;)

I will try to put some more pics on later ... of my 67 Delta 88 Custom and my 70 Vista Cruiser wagon.

Are the Cutlass an "A" body (like a Chevelle)?
I like the GM "mid" size 2 doors.
Got any shots of the interior?

call me a weirdo, but i love that sunburnt paint look, well worn on the outside with a killer engine & drive train, oh noisy as well.

You could almost call it a sleeper.

Here's the other 2 ...

Sorry the pics aren't the greatest ... I will get the hang of this forum eventually.

First pic is the 1970 Vista Cruiser wagon - 350ci Olds / T350 auto

Second pic is a shot of when we first went to suss out the 67 Delta 88 - hopefully she'll be back on the road this year - 463ci Olds BB / T400 (was 425ci but the original motor was too far gone to rebuild so I found a 40thou over 455 for it )... running twin-throttle body Gas Research LPG only.

GKE 60 ... I have a couple of mates who want me too leave it that way paint-wise ... but once I've sorted out a few other vehicles and sold off those "excess to requirements" i will get her resprayed.... sorry :p

Only because it would be nice to know if they are looking cos of the rumble or the crappy paint !

Hi All,
I dropped my Cutlass off to the mechanic last Thursday ... the factory cast intake manifold and edelbrock carb are being replaced with an Edelbrock Performer manifold & a reco'd US Quadrajet i supplied...

Once they get them working on petrol it will be converted to dual fuel LPG...

Should be interesting to see how it goes on LPG in a duel fuel set-up as I am more a fan of LPG only.

Time will tell... more soon.

Why not just run it on straight gas?

My 67 is going straight LPG ... I am going to see how the Cutlass goes on dual fuel mainly for the extra range for now...
I have a twin throttle body gas research set here if I decide to go straight LPG later.
