Hi Everyone.
Just thought i would introduce myself, i previously met Deano (RAW 454) i sold him his radiator, i believe i saw a few Camaro's at Flemington i remember seeing Deano's car & a few Camaro's next to his, very nice.
Chris saw some photo's of my car on Team Camaro & mentioned that some of you may be interested in what my 68 has since i have just installed a 496 as vehicle used to be a small block. Well it is a Gen VI bored 060 Eagle crank & H beam rods, SRP 18cc pistons, Alloy Merlin heads 310cc, Victor jnr, Lunati solid flat tappet, 950 AED holley, ICE ignition, 5000 TCE convertor & p/glide,
she seems like a real tyre fryer as you can imagine & sounds fairly tuff, I'll try & attach some photo's.
Cheer's Guy's
Mick.

I just noticed how freaken thick that radiator is... That thing is huge!!

I also noticed that you are using a smaller booster for clearance and what about the wiper motor, whats happening there?

Mitch

P.S. Did I mention that I like your car? :D

Thanks Guy's
Yeah the wiper motor won't fit because of the valve covers so will be chasing a detroit speed unit shortly that actually hugs the firewall & i managed to pick up a 8" dual diaphragm booster set up last year my old 11" delco booster would not fit with a big block, just have a couple of issues to sort out but best thing i ever done was going big block.
Cheers Mick.

Hi Chris
She made 645 HP & 585 ftlb so fairly happy considering she's not a roller (yet)
just a Lunati solid flat tappet having 263-271 @.050 & 630/630 lift.

Cheers Mick.

Looking good Mick..
Having any luck sorting the cowl air cleaner yet?

You're more than welcome to come by and try mine out.. Just remember that your carb flange will interfere with the air cleaner base's tab.
I used a die grinder to remove material for the locator to slot into as per OE.

For example..

Hey Mick. VERY NICE. Love your engine bay. Nice n neat. Did you use big block or small block frame mounts. How much clearance do you have between the air cleaner lid and the cowl. Im guessing thats a drop base air cleaner. Welcome

Hi Gav
Yes it's a 67 Camaro, 350/350, deluxe int recent resto from previous owner, i am a fairly fussy individual & this is one real nice example, nothing to do but drive, I'll try & attach a couple of photo's, by the way i have $47500 on it.
Cheers Mick.

Hi 67cammy
Yeah i used small block frame mounts after tossing backwards & forwards with the BB mounts & SB mounts, but i prefered to have the engine sitting centre of the engine bay plus mine is a RHD so no need to move away from the steering box like the LHD cars have to, the air cleaner seems fine but i do want to use a genuine cowl set up eventually, thanks.
Cheers Mick.

C'mon man.. Let's go to Heathcote. I'll bring a light and my jets.

Did that several years ago, and made 25hp at the wheels according to the slide rule. Just by messing with jets and timing..

C'mon.. Let's go! :D

Heya Mick! Brilliant to see you on here mate. Even better to see that the beast made Flemington as you were aiming for with it off the road so long. Nothing I can say that hasn't already been said above - Absolutely mint!! Must be absolutely stoked. Look forward to going for a cruise in the near future. Catchya soon!

Why 'waste' the ultimate shed with 'just' two beauties when you can fit three? :D

For what it's worth I can 110% confirm Mick's earlier comments that the silver 67 for sale is IMMACULATE, and the note of his 68's stunning BBC is just mental. Love it! Want it!! Haha... Will get there in time..

(Cheers heaps again for help Mick. Can't wait to implement some of the ideas we talked about over the coming.. er.. years! :p Bring on the sunshine as we can go for a fang!)

G'day Dean

Mate, those photo's look great almost worth framing, not all that often you see three tough Camaro's in the same shed, still room for some more muscle if i can convince the other half.

Cheers Mick.
