RS backup lamps have probably been put in to make it easier for wiring up for Australia.

You have the front end to go with em though... :)

Just looks odd with stock front end! :o maybe I'm just been a pedantic asshole?

Mine are now blinkers (orange globes), as the engineer wanted:mad: . i wasnt allowed to keep the blinkers in the brake lights as original.
No reverse lights now , but he wasnt fussed with that.

No you cant have red indicators and right hand drive in SA. I had my RS lamps taken out to make it look a bit neater across the back

Dave , hows your blinker set up now? With a 69 i need orange and couldnt source any amber lense for tail light.

Der... i just spotted them , those tiny blinkers under your bar.

Gav, your car looks excellent in that pic. What size tyre are you running there. I reckon I need more sidewall. Going to mini tub one day. Is yours tubbed. It looks like you have a smaller tank in there. Beautiful :)

Did similar on my 68. Orange globes in the reversing lights, then some superbright white LED kits insides as the reversing lights. Very bright. Now need to get some Orange LED's done to match! :)

Just spotted a 68 on Brighton Rd. For indicators he had 68 side markers installed where RS backup lamps go.

i run 275/40/17 on the back with no scrubbing but the inner lips have been rolled .

I also run 275x40x17s on the back without rolled guards and the only time they rub is when i go in and out of driveways on the inside so if the offest was slightly more towards the outside or i had a panhard rod or rear swaybar i think it would be fine
