Hi All,
Finally I with the help of Chris (thankyou Chris) have managed to post some photos of my 68. These photos were taken in the states. Now I know how to post photos I will take some more close up shots and send them round. Feel free to ask any questions you have as it is my 3rd child.

Thanks Guys, I have had the car here for around 3 months and it is fantastic and is even beter in real life than it shows up in the photos. It made 471rwhp on the dyno a couple of weeks ago. It has a 540cu AFR cnc ported then hand finished Dart BB with 4340 crank and srp piston etc etc the motor has 9.5-1 comp and is built for nitrous or a blower. It made 707 flywheel and 870 with a 150 shot of nitrous on the engine dyno. this was with a 1 inch spacer under the carb and no vintage air front running system. The gearbox is a t56 rockland standard gear 6 speed that will take 1000hp. it has carbon fibre selectors and a 31 spline input shaft and a whole lot of other strong crap no doubt. It has a areomotive fuel system and coil over front end currie rear end Baer brakes, bostin accostic sterio system. All panels and door jambs etc have been lead filled so there is no spot welds etc anywhere. The car has been dynamatted throughout and debut at sema a couple of years ago. The paintwork is incredable
cheers

Hi Muggz,
It has a Mark Williams 4inch Ali tailshaft, trak-lok 3.7 diff, 31 spline currie axles with c clips, and i think some sort of mark williams support housing. It has DSE 3inch lowered springs and a 5/8 lowering block, cal traks Baer brakes koni adjustables. When i first got the car it had rubber blocks either side of the lowering blocks and a single nut on the u bolts. After the first few days i was driving it the locating pins managed to belt through the back of the lowering blocks. the settling in of the lowering blocks into the rubber pads meant that the nuts came loose and basically the whole axle went backwards about 38mm and walked around under acceleration. this was exciting. I through the rubbwer pads out and machined the 25mm spacers down to 16mm and it also raised the rear end about 15mm. I also fitter locknuts locked up to the original nuts on the u bolts. I am planning on getting the springs reset to the correct height and throwing the spacers out. I also intend to raise the front end by about 25mm to give it some more ground clearance. When i first collect the car from transport the car would tap the road on the M1 Highway and belted on other roads which was heart breaking. 99% of this was the exhaust thus i will be fitting a new exhaust system and making sure it is nice and tight to the floor.
Cheers
Adam

Yep, the car is incredibly beautiful. The paint looks amazing in the photo's and if it looks better in real life i'll just make sure i never see it in real life as it will make me book my car in for a new paint job without fail :D

Makes me jealous every time i look at the pics :)

I wish I had those problems :D

So who actually built the car?

Tyler from ATS did the suspension and a lot of the prefitting before car was painted. Chris Padilla is the guy that I brought the car from and he did alot of the work and obviously paid the bills. The bodywork was done by Chris, his brother and his Uncle at his uncles body shop. From what I understand Chris spent every spare day for two year on the car. Everything on the car has been done extremely well and it is just as tidy behind the panel under the dash and everywhere else that you can't see which i am stoked about. I have pulled alot of the car apart fitting a fuel pump controler LO2 etc and I have not found anything not spot on anywhere.

Beautiful car.
You must be happy and proud.
Do you have this registered as LH drive?
If so, I am jealous. No hope of getting rego in SA, even on a car as well presented as yours.

Hi Nev Cars over 30 years old can be Registered in Queensland LHD without any dramas. My previous red 68 is in SA due to your poor laws. Bring on National regs. This is meant to happen early this year but who know when the federal gov will get around to endorsing it.
