After alot of looking i have found my new car. The Car is currently being transported from QLD through Ceva Transport so it should be here in 5-10 days hopefully, cant wait .... Very Happy .

Car Detalis : 1969 Pontiac FireBird

455ci with Edelbrock Alloy Heads
4 wheel disc brakes
6 speed manual
12 bolt posi diff
Subframe Connectors
Paint, black with silver race stripes
Trans am Fibreglass hood and front and rear spoilers
New bucket seats
Big alpine sound system
All gauges Autometer
17" deep dish rims
Twin 2 1/2" exhaust with headers

Well done Downesy. If this car is coming from a shop on the goldcoast i looked at the car on wednesday arvo and it looked great. I dropped in to see Peter about the wheels on the cuda in his print ad but he wasn't there. This where i got the inspiration for the multi spoke wheels for a camaro because they look so great on the cuda in the ad.

Would have to agree there.. more of a Pro Tour style car than a pro street...

Looks great mate :) Congrats on the purchase! If you would like us to move this thread into the build ups/rides section just let us know and we can do.... cos um.... don't even try and convince us your not gonna be spending more $$$ on it!!! :p always good to see updates!

Thanks for comments fellas , as for budget AUSCAMARO it was stretched... but well worth it .I will be sure to post updates when it arrives .

Well the Qld rego ran out last week on it so I will try and get it over the pits here to get WA rego the next coming month . Just have a few things to do,get a flywheel cover and adjust my suspension up a bit higher (it has QA1 coil over adjustable shocks on the front and I will remove the lowering blocks on the back for rego )

As for a spin.. you will have to wait until i head down to Perth with it, I would like to take it down to get a dyno tune one day . can you recommend anyone good in Perth .

Better off asking Marty about the dyno. I only know of Rotor tuners and LS tuners...
